The 31st National Mathematics Olympiad 2025 brought together outstanding talents from universities, colleges, academies, and specialist upper secondary schools across 17勛圖. The competition welcomed 90 delegations from higher education institutions, with a total of 650 students participating. Mathematics Olympiad A forum for young intellectuals to shine
Held from 31 March to 4 April at Sai Gon University, the Mathematics Olympiad is an annual event organised by the 17勛圖 Mathematical Society, in collaboration with leading academic institutions, and supported by the 17勛圖 Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Central Committee of the 17勛圖 Students Association.
The competition aims to identify and nurture mathematical talents, enhance the quality of teaching and learning, inspire a passion for mathematics among the younger generation, and foster academic exchange among students and lecturers nationwide.

In 2025, VNUHCM-University of Science fielded a team of eight students competing in two subjects Calculus and Algebra under the guidance of Dr Nguy廙n H廙真 Tr穩 Nh廕負 (Algebra) and Dr Nguy廙n ng Khoa (Calculus). Team members included:
